Marion Ferguson

Marion Ferguson is a Glasgow based artist and the Gallery Manager at Glasgow Print Studio.

Her current art practice manifests itself through drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and collage, focussing on aspects of landscape representation, locating a sense of identification and intimate belonging. Adopting a reductive approach with line, form, tone and colour her work delicately balances figuration with abstraction. She has most recently exhibited at the Collins Gallery.

Marion graduated from Glasgow School of Art's Fine Art Printmaking Department in 2002 where her degree show was awarded the Cargill Travel Scholarship Award.

Niel Clements

Neil Clements is an artist based in Glasgow. His practice is concerned with investigating the romantic fatalism underpinning the notion of a formally pure artwork. Central to this is an exploration into how an artist's output can be problematically indexed to a single reductive gesture or signature style, and the inherent theatricality such a position necessarily entails. Recent solo exhibitions include: 'Bad History', The Woodmill London (2011), 'Outro' SWG3 Glasgow, 'Prop Man' LOG Bergamo (2010), 'XV***' Galerie Anne Mosseri-Marlio Zurich, and Built. Lacking. doggerfisher Edinburgh (2009).

Neil completed a BA (hons) in Fine Art Painting from Glasgow School of Art in 2004 and a Masters of Research in 2008, and was a joint prizewinner of the Jerwood Painting Prize in 2010.

James Hutchinson

James Hutchinson is an artist currently in the second year of the MFA programme at Glasgow School of Art. Drawing and video are essential elements of James' practice, as is the assemblage of existing and specially commissioned objects.

Prior to moving to Glasgow, James was co-Director of the self-initiated curatorial practice The Salford Restoration Office, an organisation established to explore and critique the visual arts infrastructure of Manchester. Through the production of projects and exhibitions, The Salford Restoration Office allowed museums and galleries to analyse their particular position and history within the ecology of the city. This approach continues to inform his work
